Robert "Bob" Hill, owner and principal, of R.D. Hill, has over 25 years of project management and construction experience. In additional to owning and managing is own company, Bob has held the positions of Vice President of Construction, and Responsible Managing Officer at Cobble Knoll Homes in Los Altos, Ca. Cobble Knoll was a real estate development firm specializing in complex land development and luxury home construction. Several challenging hillside developments were completed as well as over 100 luxury homes.

Directing all aspects of R.D. Hill General Contractors, Bob successfully participates in numerous residential projects, commercial developments, and tenant improvements. Projects included custom homes in Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, Woodside, Palo Alto, Saratoga and Los Gatos. Commercial developments include a shopping center in Truckee, Ca., bank tenant improvements in Los Altos and Mountain View, dental offices in San Jose and a Spiritual Center in the Rose Garden area of San Jose.

With a pragmatic and well respected leadership style, Bob has successfully managed simultaneously a diverse group of vendors and employees, including project managers, superintendents, foreman, skilled technicians, and labor and office staff.

At San Jose State University, Bob studied Industrial Technology and Architectural Design. He also continues to stay abreast of the latest developments through his field work and continuing education classes.
